About LUMÉE

Hi, I'm Chloe — the voice behind Lumée.

I've lived in the Fraser Valley, near Fort Langley, BC, for almost two decades now. Before this blog, I didn't have a "career" in the traditional sense — my full-time work for the past 19 years has been raising my kids. But somewhere along the way, in my 40s, I started paying much closer attention to my own health, my skin, my energy, and what it actually means to age well instead of just fighting it.

Lumée is where I write it all down — the skincare routines that actually made a difference, the intermittent fasting experiments that worked (and the ones that didn't), the small lifestyle shifts that changed how I feel day to day. Everything here comes from things I've genuinely tried myself, often with a very local, very Fraser Valley backdrop — Costco runs, walks on the Fort to Fort Trail, evenings at home figuring out what "slowing down" really looks like after 40.

I'm not a dermatologist, a nutritionist, or a doctor. What I share here is personal experience, not medical advice — always check with a professional before making health decisions of your own. But if you're a woman in the same stage of life, looking for something honest rather than clinical, I think you'll feel at home here.

Thanks for stopping by.
— Chloe
